LWRA Ham Bytes – Week of 1/06/25

Greetings, fellow LWRA folks,

Happy New Year!

It is the first Monday in the second week of the year.  It means we will have our annual “State of the Club” meeting THIS WEEK! Thursday Jan 9th at 7PM. It is a very informative meeting that shows where we have traveled and hopefully where we can go if we work together.  Our officers will take part in the meeting as well, with budget, membership, and other items.  As where we want to go with the programs and topics to learn about the hobby during our meetings.  I you have any ideas we can certainly use your input! If you already know everything then we need presenters, just kidding. However, we need programs. If you have ever wanted to tell us how to, where to, or what to; we have a spot for you! Just see Dan after the meeting.

As a club we are very motivated to make you a better HAM, a consistent HAM and most of all a generous HAM.  The knowledge in this club is astounding!  Our hands on approach at QRP and some meetings, helping each other and the friendships that develop are amazing!

As a reminder dues are due for 2025 this month.  $24.00 for a year of fun.  A lot cheaper than a circus with just as many clowns, as I laugh.

So come join us, 253 West Central Ave Lake Wales 33853 (For new members please park in the south parking lot or east parking lot (city hall).  We try to reserve the west lot for our friends that have mobility issues.
