Good Monday!
It is QRP week! Our monthly get together will be at Fort Meade Outdoor Recreation Area, 1639 Frostproof Highway, Fort Meade, Fl 33841. This is just over the Peace River Bridge east of town; south of US98 past the pavilion in the old soccer area. We will explore Satellite Communications. Saturday 9-12 April 26th. Bring your chair, your drink, your radio of choice and have some fun. I look forward to seeing new and well-established friends (as opposed to old) for the day.’ Big Dogs on the Porch’ will be there for dogs, brats, and possible a burger. A donation bucket is there for your food contribution if you feel so led. An exciting set of programs for upcoming months with very capable presenters.

I have some news, Rick NI4S has decided to, after MANY years of service as a net controller for LWRA, decided to retire. I’m looking for a Net control operator for the second or third Tuesday.
