LWRA Ham Bytes – Week of 7/28/25

Good Monday!

What a GREAT QRP! We had all the elements; We had a great park, lots of room for stations, great participation, education opportunities with the P2P, at least three HF stations on different modes, folks just ‘stopping by’ to check us out from the GMRS and Ham community, repairs on folks’ equipment and lastly another treat from the Big Dogs. I would be remis if not mentioned KO4FRZ Dave for providing a great breakfast with some sausage biscuits. The park at Simmers Young has been revamped with new restrooms, and a visible sprucing up of the entire area. Looks like a potential “Ham ‘n Beans” location this October. Speaking of ‘Ham ‘n Beans” it is closer than you think; October is just around the corner. So, start thinking about want theme we want as well as the overall event. I would really like this one to take off big!

Here is the link for the QRP video Thanks Todd for doing a great job and Russ for the final product.
