And finally, QRP November. This November we will do something a little different. The return of our November ‘Helping Hams’ will be our goal. Now, this is also a place to learn to explore and meet new folks. We have four Hams that need a little attention to their antennas. We will actually have a signup sheet to divide up the locations. They are all relatively close to each other, so we are trying to figure out a lunch meet or maybe breakfast. More information to come! Please check out the sign-up sheet so we can have an idea of how to divide up the crew. NONE OF THIS IS STRENUOUS just a task that one person cannot do or in some cases physically cannot do it alone.
Even if you have no idea how to assist THIS IS AN ON-HAND LEARNING you will gain two, no three things if you come to helping hands. 1) learning something 2) comradery 3) development of friendships.
I will send the locations and schedules as we get closer to Helping Ham on the last Saturday of the month from 9-12.
EMAIL IF YOU PLAN ON HELPING HAMS (qrp) IN NOVEMBER
kn4itq@comcast.net two will be in the Lake Wales area. The other two will be in the Cypress Gardens area. ALL of these are very light antenna work or cable work. One is helping a ham gain confidence in his ability to set up his HF station.
