This special meeting will be held at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center located at 1890 Jim Keene Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33880. We will operate on both the UHF and VHF repeater for Talk in.
This month is a special meeting with a program on the services of Polk County Emergency Management being presented by Paul Womble K4FB, who is the Director of Emergency Management. Following the meeting will be a guided tour of the Polk County Emergency Operations Center for those who wish to take the tour.
Being the Polk County Emergency Operations Center is a secure facility, the doors will open for those who are attending at 1830 EDT, and the meeting will commence at 1900 EDT.
